Charitable Events
I planned, promoted, and executed a Compustar Coat Donation Program, a charitable event that paired our vehicle remote starters with a winter coat donation program. During the last three years that I have led this campaign we were able to donate hundreds of coats to those in need. I also worked hand in hand with the local schools for their "Stuff the Backpack Program." Using social media, radio interviews, and distributing posters in the community, I created the awareness that our store was a drop off location for donations. This program allows the schools to send backpacks full of food home with students over the weekend that normally rely on the school lunches as their meal for the day.

Event Portfolio
Over my three and a half years as a local Marketing Manager, I planned and participated in many community events. I think being present within your local community is a vital part of a successful marketing campaign. Creating advertising and social media content is important, but nothing beats getting to meet a passionate person face to face to really deliver your company's message. Some of the events that I coordinated took place at college job fairs, local business's golf outings, local fairs, car shows, and business after hours.
